Design Brief and Analysis
This stage is to establish a brief and direction for your new concept. We will carry out a series of meetings with you to ensure that each viewpoint is captured. The brief will include the following:
- Site assessment – if there is an existing site that you wish to develop we will look at the provisions of the site into a fitout.
- Research from both client and redesign to establish the direction of the concept– logo, target markets ie 18-40yrs, direction of the store– rustic, streamlined or contemporary.
- What position and extent do you want to expand your brand.
- Franchise module development– do you wish to take this into a franchise module. If so then brand design standards and operations manuals for replicating the design into the existing store, kiosks and large format would be compiled.
- Equipment and furniture selection.

Concept Design
Once the Design brief has been signed off by both parties, Redesign will produce the following information:
- Rendered floor plan showing all facilities.
- Renders of the interior and exterior with all new furniture, finishes and signage implemented.
- Sample and finishes boards for review.

Brand Development (if required)
It is important to reflect a strong brand for the new venture. We propose to develop the following:
- Provide logo options for review. This will incorporate colour and logo mark, font and options on backgrounds
- Integration of the approved logo into required forms of media.

Detailed Documentation
This stage is to implement the concept design into an actual site There will be an element of developing the concept renders to suit the actual site which will be produced prior to the documentation. Documentation deliverables include:
- Floor plans showing full dimensioning, floor finishes, wall finishes and furniture layouts.
- Elevations of all walls and built in joinery.
- Reflected Ceiling plan showing finish to the ceilings, ceiling features and lighting layouts.
- Joinery both loose and built in for construction.
- Equipment layout showing loadings for electrical, plumbing requirements
- Schematic electrical, data and plumbing layouts for local engineers to confirm prior to lodging with local authorities.
- Interior and exterior signage documentation.
Please note that any MEP documentation relating to extraction, fresh air, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical to be compiled by local contractors/engineers and to suit the local authority regulations and loadings is EXCLUDED from the above deliverables. We will provide you with options on the engineering contractors for approval.

Tender Submission and Project liaison
Once the detailed documentation has been complete, the documents will be sent out to contractors either nominated by you or contractors that redesign would recommend. Redesign will liaise with the contractors during the course of the tender process. Once the tender pricing has been received Redesign will review with the client and appoint on your behalf. We would prefer to work with local contractors to project management the project from start to completion. Full liaison with the contractors will be maintained for the duration of the contract to ensure the design integrity is maintained. Our local office representatives will oversee the construction of the contract to completion in a project liaison role– not day to day project management.

Brand Manual (if required)
This stage is to develop the concept plan from Stage 1 into a design brand manual for roll out of further stores. We propose that the design brand manual is compiled for reference for the first site to commence. On completion of the first site we will incorporate the as built photos into the interior brand manual. In order to facilitate the operational manual, we will require background information on the brand to analyse and produce documentation so the actual photos and design can be incorporated into the document. This will be outsourced to suit your requirements. Suggest also a consultant from New Zealand as they need to work closely with your team to develop the methods and procedures for the operations. Redesign Group will however compile all the information in a folder format so both manual designs are consistent.
